TRICUM CORPORATION was first established as a partnership organization on November 24, 1995. It was then called Tricum Trading Company.

Initially, the company was engaged in metal fabrication of some allied products derived from engineering plastics. It has since expanded its operation to include the importation, sale and distribution of carbon graphite and other related products like brush holders and electrical contacts.

It has a workforce that includes sales representatives as well as office and shop personnel. The company maintains a machine shop where fabrication and repair works are done.

In 2000, the partnership eventually became a corporation, and is now called TRICUM CORPORATION.

In March 2002, TRICUM CORPORATION became an exclusive distributor in the Philippines of MERSEN (formerly known as Carbone Lorraine) products from France. MERSEN France Amiens S.A.S. is a group of companies which, for over a century now, has been a world specialist in carbon and graphite products and their applications.
